The Pillars: Boerne Stage Rd (formerly Cadence Academy Preschool) is rooted in a commitment to nurturing young minds in a safe, faith-based environment. We serve children starting at 6 weeks of age, with age-appropriate programs designed to support each stage of development through hands-on learning, character-building, and joyful discovery.

Having had older children in two other daycares in the area that fell short, I was incredibly anxious to begin the search for my newest baby. However, those nerves disappeared once my daughter started at The Pillars.
The balance here is exactly what I was looking for: a warm, loving environment that doesn’t sacrifice actual education. My daughter is genuinely cared for, but she is also consistently learning and hitting milestones.
What truly sets this center apart is the leadership. The Director consistently goes above and beyond for the students, and it shows in how the facility is run. I especially value their transparency. Whether it is a policy update, an issue that they’re facing, or a teacher transition, they are proactive and direct with communication. It is rare to find a school that is this well-organized while still maintaining such a heart-centered approach.

Our experience at the Pillars has been great! From the moment you walk in, you can feel how warm and welcoming the environment is. The staff truly cares about each child and treats them with kindness, patience, and genuine love.
The teachers go above and beyond to create a nurturing and engaging atmosphere, and it is clear they are passionate about what they do.
The curriculum is thoughtfully designed and provides a great balance of learning and development, both socially and academically.

It means so much to me to be able to trust a place with my children, and this center has truly been a blessing to our family. I enrolled my son at 12 months and now he is 21 months, its been great so far!!
Adriana and the entire staff don’t just “watch” the kids… they genuinely love them and treat each child like their own. Honestly, there are days I feel like my baby is even more taken care of there than at home—and that says everything.
He is also learning so much already, and it makes me so happy to see him grow, explore, and come home with new things every day.
As a mom, that feeling is priceless. You can see it in the way they interact, the patience they show, and the safe, happy environment they create every day. I’m beyond grateful for them and the peace of mind they give me.
In short (they love, care, feed, clean and educate) our kids , what else we could ask for!!

The Pillars staff is amazing! From the wonderful and caring teachers to the best kid chef EVER and the kind and knowledgeable management staff. They all take the time to know each and every kid and are always available for any questions or concerns. Most importantly, you can tell that they truly care about your child(ren) and how they learn, grow and develop.
