With experience in Early Childhood Education dating back to 1996, Mrs. Christy brings depth, consistency, and a relationship-first mindset to The Pillars Cibolo. She holds an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, a Child Development Associate Credential, a State Director’s Credential/License, and CPR/First Aid certification. 

Mrs. Christy joined the organization in September 2023 and supports infant, toddler, preschool, Pre-K, and before and after school programs. Her background includes ABEKA, Creative Curriculum, social-emotional learning, kindergarten readiness, STEM/STEAM learning, and Texas Rising Star quality standards. She also has extensive experience coaching teachers, supporting curriculum implementation, and maintaining strong program quality. 

Mrs. Christy has lived in Texas her entire life and has called the Hill Country home for more than 20 years. She lives with her husband, son and their six Boston Terriers. She enjoys family time, volunteering for animal-related causes, caring for her dogs, and serving in children’s ministry at church. Her leadership is guided by integrity, compassion, and the belief that strong relationships are the foundation for lasting success.

Would give 10 stars if I could! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I cannot recommend this daycare enough! After a bad experience at another local daycare, I was so nervous about putting my daughter in daycare for the first time. From our very first visit, I knew this place was different. My daughter stayed here until she was ready for public school, and every step of the way we felt so loved and supported. The staff genuinely care about the children, and you can feel it the moment you walk in. One thing that really impressed me is how little staff turnover they have—so rare these days! Ms. Angela and Ms. Grace were absolutely incredible and made such a positive impact on my daughter. A huge thank you to Director Christy Strawn, who is so kind, accommodating, and truly goes above and beyond for the families she serves. As a busy single mom of two, having a daycare I trusted completely gave me so much peace of mind. They truly became part of my village. If you’re looking for a daycare where your child will be safe, loved, and genuinely cared for, this is it. We are forever grateful for everyone here!

I’m so grateful to have found a caring facility! My children love it here’ The caregivers are super amazing, attentive and intentional! I am excited to be apart of the Pillars’ family. Christy told me I would feel like family and I definitely do. The facility is always clean and I love a fresh scent in the air. Always a plus! I hope I continue to have this great experience as my children begin their journey with school transport this August. Super excited!

I have had the pleasure of placing my granddaughter in the hands of a staff that has been very patient, kind and loving to her as well as witnessing be that to the children in their care. I have watched their drivers bring children in and they show so much safety, care and concern with them. This truly speaks a lot of their Director, Mrs. Christy. The few concerns I’ve had- she listened and ensured that those minor issues will be addressed. With so much going on in the world today- I can truly say that the feel of safety and concern for my granddaughter is at ease. I’ve never heard the teacher screaming at the children nor have I seen disorderly children. This place is such a gem hidden and the staff is amazing. So if you’re looking for some here try the Pillars in Cibolo. Thank you all for taking care of my granddaughter.Tammy

My Gramdson started here the beginning of February. All I can say is that this center is God sent. Since starting, Ezra has made huge improvements in his behavior, and interacting with his teachers.amd his classmates. He’s happy to be dropped off and I can say he enjoys it here. Ms. Estephania, Ms Kristin, Ms Misty, Ms. Hope, and Ms. Hannah to Mariana and the front lobby are so welcoming and loving. Ms Christy always has a smile and address all concerns immediately. I highly recommend this center. It has brought tears to my eyes to know that my Grandson is in a safe , loving and nurturing center. We had so many issues at Kiddie Academy in Cibolo where he was prior to us finding a place where Ezra feels safe, loved and can grow and learn. Thank you to all the staff there. You all are a huge blessing. Keep rocking it! I highly recommend this center!!

This location of The Pillars Chrisitan Learning Centers is approved to participate in the Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA) Pre-K Voucher Program for the 2026–2027 school year. 

Eligible families who receive TEFA approval may apply voucher funds toward Pre-K tuition at this campus. 

Enrollment is limited and subject to classroom availability.
