At The Pillars Creekside, Mrs. Shaquairee combines early childhood leadership with a nurturing, purpose-driven approach to children and families. She began working in Early Childhood Education in 2015 and holds an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, along with her State Director’s Credential/License and CPR/First Aid certification. 

Since joining the organization in September 2025, Mrs. Shaquairee has supported children across infant, toddler, preschool, Pre-K, before and after school, and summer/holiday programs. Her experience with Conscious Discipline, Frog Street, Procare, and developmentally appropriate practices helps her build structured, nurturing classrooms that support social-emotional growth, self-regulation, communication, and engagement. 

Mrs. Shaquairee lives in Texas with her husband and four children. Together, they enjoy long walks, theme parks, and serving in ministry as a family. Her philosophy is rooted in love, patience, kindness, and purpose, with a belief that children are a gift and that the guidance they receive today helps shape who they become tomorrow.

Ms. Erika, my son’s previous teacher, and Ms. Emily, his current teacher, are both truly outstanding educators. From day one, they have been incredibly supportive, patient, and attentive to my son’s needs. They don’t just teach him — they really know him. I can tell they pay close attention to his personality, strengths, and challenges, and they adjust their approach in ways that help him feel safe, confident, and understood. Both teachers communicate clearly and respectfully with me, and I always feel like we are working together as a team rather than me being kept in the dark. When I have concerns, they listen seriously and respond thoughtfully instead of brushing anything off. That kind of care makes a huge difference as a parent. 🩷

We cannot say enough good things about The Pillars Christian Learning Center. Since Shaquairee stepped in as director, this center has truly been transformed. She has brought much-needed structure, consistency, and accountability by enforcing policies, while still leading with incredible grace and compassion. You can feel the positive change the moment you walk through the doors. What stands out most is that her faith is at the center of who she is. She leads with Christ’s love, and it radiates throughout the entire center—into the staff, the students, and every family who enters. She genuinely loves her team and the children, and it shows daily. We are especially thankful for Mcayla, the teacher for Preschool B, and Emily, the teacher for Young Preschool A. Both teachers love our kids as if they were their own, and that kind of care means everything to us. We have seen so much growth in each of our children—academically, emotionally, and socially—since being in their classes. Their patience, dedication, and genuine love for the kids truly set them apart. The Pillars is more than a daycare—it is a faith-filled community that pours into children and families alike.
